Former Coremetrics Exec to Lead eCommera in US

UK-based ecommerce service provider eCommera has appointed former IBM Coremetrics Director John Squire to lead its Retail Predictive Analytics Software division, and spearhead the firm's US expansion.

eCommera provides analytics-driven software and solutions, to help retailers develop and operate ecommerce businesses. These include a mobile platform analysing retailers' online and business operational data.

Squire was most recently Chief Strategy Officer of IBM Smarter Commerce, prior to which he was Chief Strategy Officer at web analytics firm Coremetrics, acquired by IBM in 2010. During his eleven-year tenure with Coremetrics, he held various executive roles managing sales, marketing, product management, business development and strategy.

In his new position, Squire is responsible for all aspects of eCommera's Intelligent Trader product globally, and for the development of the firm's US market presence.
