New Chairman for Australian IAB

July 23 2012

In Australia, trade association the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) has elected Mark Britt, Group CEO of Mi9, as its new Chairman.

Britt, who was elected unanimously and takes up the role immediately, will oversee the roll-out of IAB Australia's upcoming strategies, working closely with CEO Paul Fisher, and will stay in the role until a long term successor is selected.

The Board recognised and thanked departing Chairman Tony Prentice for his leadership. Fisher said that under Prentice's tenure, the IAB had delivered 'significant milestone projects' - including the accreditation of the online audience measurement system.

Britt commented: 'It's an honour to be chosen by the IAB Board and I look forward to working closely with the Board and Paul Fisher to articulate our priorities over the coming months, and to ensure our work supports Australia's interactive advertising industry.'
