EyeQuant Gaze Analysis Added to Web Page Generator

Pagewiz, a DIY generator of web site landing pages, has partnered with eye tracking company EyeQuant to add 'heat map' style effects to help clients optimize their pages.

Developed and patented by a group of neuroscientists at CalTech, USC and the University of Osnabrueck, EyeQuant's automated technology uses neuroscientific models of human attention and prediction algorithms to instantly forecast where users will look on a web site. This information is then used to help clients design sites which attract users to key elements of a page.

Pagewiz will be adding EyeQuant's technology to its do-it-yourself service, which enables anyone to create, publish, and optimize their own landing pages.

Arik Liberman, CEO of Pagewiz, comments: 'Until today, many customers held focus groups in order to produce the type of insights EyeQuant offers. This is the first time that this kind of capability has been available in any landing page generator software.'
