Nielsen Selected for Czech TV Audience Contract

SPMS - an association for television audience measurement in the Czech Republic - has commissioned Nielsen to measure television viewing across the country.

Kyriakos KyriakouThe agency's TV ratings will be collected from a sample of 1,900 homes, which will each have its peoplemeter electronic push-button devices installed on their televisions. Nielsen will use personalized incentives to reach certain segments of the population - particularly in homes with a younger demographic.

Recruitment will commence in April 2013, with the first TV ratings expected to be delivered to subscribers in November 2013.
