Yap Leaves TNS for Senior Ipsos Role

Ipsos Marketing has appointed Stephen Yap, previously Global Account Director at TNS, as Head of Market Understanding & Measurement.

Stephen YapYap brings more than sixteen years of cross sector experience, much of it at TNS where he worked earlier as Group Director in the UK and (for seven years) Director, Client Services & Insights in Hong Kong. Prior to this he was a founding member and Director of Interactive Audience Measurement Asia (iamasia), creating what is described as Greater China's first internet audience measurement tool. He holds an M.A. in Communication from Washington State University and a B.A. in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Sheffield, UK.

Ipsos Marketing's UK MD Rob Myers says Yap is 'a seasoned industry expert with a diverse international background' and adds: 'I look forward to building on his long track record of success.'
