Peanut Labs Helps Launch Charity Initiative

February 19 2013

Online charity fundraising site Goodsearch has partnered with social media sampling firm Peanut Labs to launch an initiative called Goodsurveys, through which participants can take short surveys while earning funds to support their favorite cause.

Scott GarellGoodsearch is a Yahoo-powered search engine, online shopping mall and restaurant dining program that contributes 50% of its revenue to non-profits designated by its users. The money donated comes from the search engine advertisers, merchants and participating restaurants.

The Goodsurveys initiative is powered by Peanut Labs, the eRewards / Research Now subsidiary which gives researhcers access to tens of millions of members of social networking sites who are willing to take part in online surveys. When a survey is complete, Goodsurveys donates about a dollar to the user's favourite non-profit or school.

Scott Garell (pictured), CEO of Goodsearch, comments: 'With the difficult economy and increasingly fast-paced lifestyles, people are looking for more free and easy ways to continue supporting their causes. We are delighted to help supporters of America's various causes simply do good by sharing their opinions with Goodsurveys.'
