InCrowd Launches DIY Package

US-based InCrowd, which provides real-time market intelligence to the pharmaceutical industry, has launched a DIY product called InCrowd Answers.

Janet KosloffBased in Cambridge, Massachusetts and launched in 2010 by CEO Janet Kosloff (pictured), President Diane Hayes, and SVP Kathleen Paulos, the firm offers a platform through which to connect pharma, medical device and life sciences firms with 'crowds' of screened and targeted healthcare professionals. Last year, the company raised $2.2m in a Series A round of funding, to develop its technology and tools, and expand its panel of healthcare professionals and its team.

The new DIY tool offers a range of features including a dashboard providing access to real-time data on a 24/7 basis, statistical testing tools, a 'Crowd Builder' solution, and technical solutions.

Kosloff explains: 'We developed InCrowd Answers in response to feedback from the pharma industry. Our customers told us about their need for speed and flexibility around data acquisition, their desire for security related to their proprietary data and of course the need to save money. A customer-managed, DIY tool was an obvious answer.'
