In New York, social media monitoring and analytics platform Talkwalker has introduced an AI-powered video analytics service, which it claims can help brands track those social media mentions and conversations that they would otherwise have missed.Talkwalker's platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) to track and analyze online conversations in real-time across social media networks, news web sites, blogs and forums in 187 languages. The firm says its new video analytics service, when combined with its existing social media analytics and image recognition service, can uncover three-times the number of brand mentions, providing clients with a '360 degree view of their brands in motion'.
Todd Grossman (pictured), CEO for the Americas, adds: 'We're such a visually-driven society, especially among Millennials and Gen Z. So many moments happen in video, it's crucial for brands to be a part of these customer conversations. We found that up to 98% of videos with detected brand logos didn't mention the brand name. No company could monitor them - until now.'
