RG+A Names Three Person Leadership Team

In the US, healthcare researcher RG+A has named Carol Mann Chief Executive Officer, while Martin Jernigan has been appointed President and Chief Operating Officer. They join Chairman and founder Roger Green to create a three-person leadership team for the company.

From its HQ in New Hope, PA, RG+A conducts primary research and consulting for the healthcare industry, advising pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies on areas such as business development, pre-launch planning, forecasting, and pricing. Mann has served as interim CEO since April 2018, during which time, she has overseen a 40% reduction in general and administrative expenses costs and led a restructuring of the company's finances. Mann previously worked at accounting giant BDO Seidman as Partner of Restructuring Services, KPMG as MD - Restructuring Services, and she founded turnaround company Triage. In her role as permanent CEO, Mann will continue to focus on the overall long-term strategic direction and success of the company.

Jernigan, who joined RG+A last month, will lead the company's research, consulting and sales activities while working directly with some key clients. He has more than twenty years of strategic pharmaceutical leadership experience in US and global commercial roles. Most recently, he spent twelve years at Novo Nordisk, overseeing the US pre launch and launch of Victoza (liraglutide), and earlier in his career, he worked in commercial, business development, strategy and marketing roles at Johnson & Johnson, Aventis, Hoechst Marion Roussel and Marion Merrell Dow. In addition, he currently teaches Pharmaceutical Marketing at Rutgers MBA global business management program.

Following these appointments, Green will focus primarily on working with clients and stakeholders.
