UserZoom Buys UX Insights Firm Validately

In the US, user experience (UX) insights company UserZoom has acquired NYC-based user research technology company Validately. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Alfonso de la NuezFounded in 2013 by Steven Cohn, Validately recruits testers, launches tests and analyzes results for mobile app and desktop. Clients can either use their own customers or recruit from Validately's panel. With this acquisition, UserZoom says its customers will benefit from additional ways to collaborate across teams, as well as categorize and share 'in the moment' insights with teammates and stakeholders.

The deal adds to UserZoom's platform, which provides qual and quant UX insights to support product and design teams at every stage of product development. Client teams can test, measure and benchmark the user experience of 'any digital product, on any device', using insights sourced from more than 120 million global participants.
