Japanese Firms Launch Eyetracking and Optimisation Tool

Digital transformation and eCommerce services firm transcosmos inc. has partnered with Tokyo-based software provider SOOTH Inc. to launch a video ad analysis and optimisation product, 'GAZE HACK', based on eyetracking.

transcosmos offers services to support sales expansion and cost optimization, via 167 locations across 30 countries, focused on Asia; and also provides a one-stop global eCommerce services delivering products and services in 48 countries worldwide. Its new partner SOOTH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AOI Pro, is an image production company whose software also captures vital reaction and behavioral data using a variety of sensing technologies.

GAZE HACK identifies and visualizes the elements that viewers gaze at, at any time, and also includes 'GAZE COUNTER', which can aggregate and score the degree of 'gaze concentration' on each element in slots of 1/30 of a second. This data can be combined with demographic analysis to produce tailored content depending on age, gender and other factors.
