Anaplan Buys B2B Customer Intelligence Firm Mintigo

Business performance management software company Anaplan has acquired AI-powered B2B customer intelligence platform Mintigo for an undisclosed sum.

Frank CalderoniMintigo's platform provides a 'holistic view' of where customers are in the buyer journey, and guides marketing and sales teams on who to target and when to engage. Its self-serve SaaS platform allows revenue teams to discover their total addressable market, build target audiences around insights, and plan campaigns at scale. Since it launched in 2009, the company has raised more than $50m in funding.

Its new owner is San Francisco-based Anaplan, which boasts a network of twenty offices and offers a platform to connect people, data and plans across every business function. Mintigo's predictive capabilities will now be embedded into Anaplan's software, enabling customers to gain access to more data and recommendations to support decision making - particularly when conducting activities such as account segmentation, ideal customer profile analysis, and forecasting.
