Funds for Business Data Firm Signal AI

AI-powered business intelligence and media monitoring company Signal AI has completed a Series C funding round of $25m, which it says will be used to add new use cases, accelerate rapid growth in the US and cement its recent launch in the APAC market.

David BenigsonThe company provides business leaders with insights into digital, print and broadcast media, news, and regulatory data, and its artificial intelligence layer allows companies to train it to recognize key themes, risks or opportunities in their market sectors. The round, which brings the firm's total funding to date to $43m, was led by Redline Capital with participation from existing investors including MMC Ventures, GMG Ventures and Hearst Ventures.

Signal AI grew revenue by over 130% in the last 12 months and more than doubled its customer base. It now boasts more than 150 employees worldwide, with offices in London, New York and Hong Kong.
