Jibunu Launches Video Responses Tool

Market research technology and survey programming company Jibunu has released a video response capture tool, allowing researchers to collect 'user-generated qual feedback at quant scale'.

Ken BerryThe Fitchburg, MA-based firm was founded in 2003 and develops database-driven online data collection and survey programming technology, with the aim of combining good respondent experience with practicality for researchers. The new tool is accessed through a web browser and can be used standalone or in conjunction with a traditional online survey. Survey participants record video responses to questions using their phone, tablet, laptop or PC at the push of a button. Responses are then available to view and download via the firm's client portal, with transcripts, translations and video captioning available as add-ons.

Jibunu says the launch is a response both to the ever-growing consumption and creation of video in consumers' daily lives, and to demand for video capture with the profession. Jibunu Video Responses are pitched as an affordable option not requiring purchase of a license or commitment to a contract.

Company President Ken Berry (pictured) comments: 'Video response is just another example of us incorporating technologies or techniques into our surveys that most would rely on a third party to get done. Rather than needing to add multiple resources to satisfy a client's need, it can all be done under the Jibunu umbrella'.
