Amperity Buys Customer Intelligence Platform Custora

In the US, AI-powered customer data platform Amperity has acquired customer intelligence and analytics platform Custora. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Corey Pierson and Kabir ShahaniCustora's platform uses AI (artificial intelligence) to uncover insights about each shopper, then provides an interface for marketers to activate cross-functional, cross-channel strategies. According to Amperity, the combined solution will provide brands with access to customer analytics and activation tools, while providing it with an advanced machine learning platform for unifying and analyzing customer data.

With the buy, Custora will rebrand and become Amperity's East Coast headquarters. By integrating Custora's functionality with the Amperity platform, the company will provide clients with predictive insights on every customer profile, including predicted lifetime value, lifecycle status and propensity to return a purchase. This will also provide campaign planning tools for revenue forecasting, opportunity sizing, and prioritization by segment; while offering A/B testing functionality and a suite of diagnostics, benchmarks, insights and longitudinal measurement, to enable brands to understand buyer conversion, customer attrition and high-value customer cultivation.
