Omni-channel TV advertising and analytics platform Innovid has appointed former IgnitionOne MD Wolfgang Kirschner to head its expansion efforts across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The firm has also hired Jeremy Straight as SVP of Business Development, based out of New York.
The firm is headquartered in New York, and provides MRC-accredited tools to create, deliver and measure video campaigns. These tools capture consumer engagement with proprietary real-time analytics and reporting, providing insight into ad viewability, engagement, awareness and social media sharing.
Kirschner (pictured) joins with fifteen years' digital marketing industry experience, most recently from tech firm IgnitionOne, where as MD he managed all functional areas of the business and had P+L responsibilities for the DACH region. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at digital marketing companies including FantasticZero, Adconion Media Group and AdJug.
From a base in Munich, Kirschner will now focus on building Innovid's regional teams. CEO and founder Zvika Netter comments: ''Innovid has experienced a significant demand in the DACH region as we continue our strategic global expansion. The appointment of Wolfgang, who brings strong regional relationships and local knowledge, will enable us to elevate our support of the global brands in this area'.
Straight joins with a decade of experience in advertising technology, with a focus on video, in business development roles at Lightstream, SpotX, OneRiot (acquired by WalMart) and DATA, Incorporated. Says Netter: 'As our CTV business continues to accelerate at an unprecedented rate, it is the perfect time to bring on Jeremy to advance partner development, custom joint product development, and key integrations across the CTV industry'.
