Consumer intelligence platform Toluna has added advanced scripting capabilities to its flagship QuickSurveys on-demand plaform, helping users to create and launch complex studies.
QuickSurveys provides 24/7 DIY access to Toluna's global community of millions, and can be used to launch short-term digital communities, while also offering advanced analytics and visualization services. New enhancements include a text highlighter, to enable packaging and ad & marketing copy to be evaluated by respondents who indicate the words or phrases that are liked, disliked, or deemed confusing.
In addition, the service also now offers a 'logic' feature, with the aim of keeping surveys relevant to respondents by only asking applicable questions; while timed exposure shows ads or package images at intervals, ranging from 1-30 seconds, before asking recall questions. A 'grid carousel' can be used to code responses for easier selection, for example, positive answer options colored green and negative options colored red; and a 'masking' option is available to filter questions so respondents will not see answer choices that are not relevant to them.
Debbie Senior (pictured), VP of Product Automation at Toluna parent company ITWP, comments: 'Clients gain faster benefits from having more sophisticated options in their bespoke surveys. Scripts are standardized with minimal customization, increasing survey quality consistency but maintaining the flexibility to add custom items on demand'.
