Phebi Launches Voice-Enabled Survey Technology

January 24 2020

In London, voice technology firm Phebi has introduced a new product, which it claims makes it easy to 'voice-enable' any survey.

Mike PageThe new Phebi Insight solution has been developed to enable people who conduct surveys to increase response and completion rates, gain qualitative data at scale, and better predict behaviour. It can also detect emotion in respondents' voices. To test it, Phebi has already partnered with MR software firm Askia, whose Chief Customer Officer Richard Collins says it makes it easy for clients to carry out their own exploration into an 'audio-supported survey world'.

Phebi CEO Mike Page (pictured) adds: 'Voice interactions are the most intuitive, natural and efficient way for us to communicate. This level of comfort means that when people talk instead of type they give longer, more in-depth responses, especially on mobile. Plus, since voice communication requires less effort, it conveys more nuanced, unfiltered and emotional responses and, in addition to accurately capturing voiced responses, Phebi Insight can analyze sentiment and detect emotion'.
