LiveVox Buys Speech Analytics Platform SpeechIQ

In the US, customer engagement specialist LiveVox has acquired Columbus, Ohio-based AI-driven speech analytics platform SpeechIQ for an undisclosed sum.

Nick Bandy and Louis SummePowered by a proprietary speech recognition engine that instantly transcribes calls, SpeechIQ offers numerous features, including the ability to redact, retrieve and listen to calls, search by keyword lists, create manual and automated scorecards, and evaluate call sentiment. According to LiveVox the combination of the two platforms will enable organizations to measure, monitor and improve customer conversations across all channels, while identifying the potential for operational efficiencies through analytics.

SpeechIQ CEO Nick Bandy says his firm's capabilities will enable all LiveVox customers to unlock the 'vast amount of insights' in their call recordings. LiveVox CEO Louis Summe adds: 'SpeechIQ is a terrific addition to our digital and data-centric approach to communications. Its capabilities continue to fulfil our pledge to make digital transformation easier for our clients'.
