New Arizona Offices for Clarivate

Innovation analytics firm Clarivate is to open an office for around 150 staff in Chandler, Arizona, and says it will serve as one of three new Centers of Excellence, alongside locations in London and Malaysia.

Clarivate Analytics offers insights and data to help clients accelerate the pace of innovation, with brands including the Web of Science, Cortellis, Derwent, CompuMark, MarkMonitor and Techstreet. The firm employs more than 4,300 people in more than 40 countries worldwide, and is headquartered in Philadelphia and London. Last month the firm announced it would acquire healthcare-focused research and data provider Decision Resources Group (DRG) for $900m in cash and c.$50m shares.

The new office is a 30,000 square foot lease at Chandler Viridian, located in the Price Corridor Employment Center; and will include divisions from finance, administration, sales and customer service, along with several executive positions.

Chandler is Arizona's fourth largest city with a population of more than 262,000, and has been named one of the nation's Best Places to Find a Job and Best Cities for Women in Tech. Governor Doug Ducey says of the move: 'Arizona is proud to welcome another company expanding in our state. Today's news is another win for our booming economy, and we thank Clarivate Analytics for bringing more jobs and investment to Arizona'.
