Remesh Raises $25m to Expand Company and Platform

MR software firm Remesh has raised $25m in a Series A2 round of funding, which will be used to drive expansion of the company and its platform.

Andrew KonyaFounded in 2014 by a team of ex-Googlers, academics, physicists, consultants and political operatives, Remesh has developed a survey tool that uses artificial intelligence, machine learning and natural language processing to gather, filter and rank the collective opinion of crowds in a conversational format. Recently, the company appointed Ginny Lobel as Vice President of Marketing, and Adam Donato as Vice President of Delivery. Later this year, the firm is planning to open a new office in Cleveland, where it was originally founded.

New funding has been led by General Catalyst, with participation from LionBird (Series Seed lead), North Coast Ventures, and several new external investors, bringing the total raised to date to more than $38m. Andrew Konya (pictured), Remesh co-founder and CEO, comments: 'This round of funding helps bring us closer to a world where anyone can instantly understand a population'.
