Location Data Firm Blis Launches Home Targeting Tool

April 20 2020

Location data ad technology firm Blis has launched a product called 'Habits to Home Targeting', to help brands adapt their advertising for the new 'stay at home' world.

Greg IsbisterEstablished in the UK in 2004, and now operating in 42 offices across five continents, Blis uses location data to map real-world consumer behaviour. The new product, developed in response to the Covid-19 crisis, combines location behaviour data collected during the past six months with a new proprietary Smart Households technology designed to identify and reach entire households at scale. Blis says it allows brands to connect and reach all consumers residing in a household, at a time when people are working from home, but making fewer purchase decisions outside the home.

CEO Greg Isbister (pictured) comments: 'With many people around the world impacted by lockdowns, the usual methods of reaching consumers are also restricted. Foot traffic to stores and leisure destinations worldwide has seen a significant decline, but mobile usage and media consumption at home is increasing at an astounding rate. Habits to Home Targeting will help ensure that they reach the community of people within a household that will be impacted by any purchasing decisions made on their behalf'.
