SurveyMonkey Adds Home Working Tools to Microsoft Teams

May 15 2020

DIY survey software provider SurveyMonkey has enhanced its app integration with the Microsoft Teams communication platform, to make it easier for team leaders and employees to generate surveys and collect feedback from one another in the 'new era' of home working.

Samantha BuftonMicrosoft Teams is used for workplace chat, video meetings, file storage and app integration. Through SurveyMonkey's own integration with the platform, users can create polls, surveys or quizzes and collect data directly in Teams. They can also set up notifications to let the team know when there are new responses or comments. Microsoft Teams has more than 75 million daily active users, with SurveyMonkey app usage up more than 90% since March.

The latest updates help enterprises to securely understand and act on employee sentiment and feedback, including views on workspace environments, virtual events and training. Users can tap multiple template options created by SurveyMonkey research specialists, or create surveys entirely from scratch.

SVP of Product Samantha Bufton (pictured) comments: 'Connections and collaboration are vital during these unprecedented times, and empowering greater communication and acting on important employee feedback is the key to keeping people together even as we are all working apart'.
