GDCC Moves US Call Centers to Work-from-Home Model

May 27 2020

Netherlands-based data collection firm GDCC has consolidated its US-based call centers into an entirely work-from-home enterprise, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The firm has also promoted Lisa Mancini to the role of Vice President of Operations, North America.

Lisa ManciniGDCC (Global Data Collection Company) works in both consumer and B2B research, with physical locations in seven countries and covering more than 40 languages globally on a day-to-day basis. Following the latest announcement, all 300 of its US interviewing stations will be staffed by individuals dialing from remote locations.

Managing Partner Sanne Krom explains: 'We have been running part of our workforce remotely for quite a long time, but still had physical locations in Cincinnati and Reno. We have now closed Cincinnati, but will maintain Reno as our US HQ and are focusing all of the operation to supporting our work-from-home interviewers'.

Mancini (pictured) has a 30-year call center operations background, and for the past 25 has run the company's Reno location, which was previously owned by ORC International and was acquired by GDCC three years ago. Before joining GDCC in 2018, she was Director of Call Center Operations for ORC, and Call Center Manager for CJ Research. Krom adds: 'Lisa has been instrumental in spearheading the transition from ORC to GDCC, and is a key member of our leadership team in the US. We are pleased that her promotion will reflect that'.
