In the US, customer analytics and digital marketing agency Stirista has raised $13m in a financing round, which it will use to accelerate organic growth, enhance its customer data hub, make acquisitions, and further expand its leadership team.
Founded in 2009 by Ajay and Candice Gupta and based in San Antonio, Texas, Stirista delivers privacy-compliant data to help clients target customers and prospects using digital, e-mail and social media channels. Its real-time databases offer access to more than 360 segmentation options, and once an audience is selected, the firm helps clients optimize the most appropriate messages. It also offers fully managed digital advertising, to help clients get in front of their audience where they search online.
New funding was led by Wavecrest Growth Partners, with participation from industry veteran Dennis Ainge, a founding executive of analytics company TARGUSinfo and former SVP Data Strategy at consumer data provider Neustar. Stirista CEO Ajay Gupta comments: 'It is a testament to our highly skilled team that we accomplished so much without external funding. With the Wavecrest partnership, we're going to rapidly accelerate organic growth and put San Antonio at the forefront of data and technology.
