Tealium Debuts Behavior Prediction Feature

Real-time customer data specialist Tealium has launched a machine learning feature helping marketers predict and react to future customer behavior.

Mike AndersonTealium brings together data from web, mobile, off-line and IoT sources, to enable brands to connect with their customers. Its new Predict Machine Learning solution (Predict ML) aims to help marketing teams identify the buyers most likely to make a purchase, or the segment most likely to churn. As an add-on to the firm's AudienceStream customer data platform (CDP), Predict ML already has access to more than 30 million predictions, and can be used to predict the likelihood of any behavior a client is currently tracking across the platform.

The firm says users can anticipate when a customer will make a purchase and take action to increase revenue; or identify prospects who won't purchase and direct ads away from them. Company founder and CTO Mike Anderson (pictured) comments: 'By offering a flexible machine learning product that's integrated right into our CDP solution, we're taking the complexity and burden out of the data collection equation, leveling the playing field for our customers and allowing them to really focus on how to activate the value of their data'.
