International data collection and research services business the Schlesinger Group has brought together a number of existing units to form a dedicated Schlesinger Clinical Research division.
An approved government vendor based across thirty US sites, the division will provide a single point of contact to oversee the recruitment and application of clinical study research protocols nationwide. Members of this team have principal investigator experience, as well as CITI-certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Human Subjects Protection, to ensure clinical standards are maintained across sites.
Clinical recruitment capabilities include access to proprietary panels of consumers and patients supporting more than 250,000 participants in clinical studies annually, as well as a panel of more than 400,000 patients tracking more than 326 medical conditions, and a consumer panel of 700,000 active members. Clinical research undertaken includes coverage of invasive and non-invasive devices, label comprehension, product testing, and claims substantiation.
Schlesinger Group EVP Rob Ramirez (pictured) says the new offering 'stands to revolutionize clinical research outcomes for clients through streamlining the research process, by bringing site selection, subject enrolment, and study execution expertise under one partner'.
