Inc & Co Buys Sports Data Firm Insight Analysis

Manchester, UK-based creative collective Inc & Co has acquired Bath-based sports performance analysis and data management (PADM) firm Insight Analysis for an undisclosed sum.

Insight Analysis has a team of 20 staff and offers a proprietary data collection framework, 'CaptureRight', which includes video and advanced GPS tracking, to help athletes from the world of football, rugby, tennis and athletics improve their performance. The firm combines classic data analysis methodologies with artificial intelligence, used by its performance analysts and data science teams to understand the captured data.

Inc & Co says the deal adds to its own network of sports-related services, which includes digital sports agency Skylab, and follows the recent takeover of data specialist MyLife Digital. Jack Mason (pictured), Group CEO of Inc & Co, comments: 'Bringing Insight Analysis into the Inc & Co collective means that we can continue to offer a world-leading sports service package to customers. I am particularly excited to see the synergy between Insight Analysis and our recently acquired digital sports agency Skylab, as they both possess specialist skillsets in sports'.
