In New York, consumer insights platform Suzy has hired five new team members, including former Cint / Toluna exec Katie Gross as Chief Customer Officer, responsible for overseeing all customer relationships and spearheading the firm's customer advocacy program.
Founded in 2018 by former Crowdtap CEO Matt Britton, Suzy combines research tools with its own consumer network to connect brands directly with their target audiences. Using the platform, brands can find answers to questions on what people are curious about, what motivates them, and what they are seeking to learn, in order to create new products and marketing strategies. In February, the company raised $12m in a Series C round of funding, to drive company growth and expand its product.
Gross (pictured) joins from insight exchange and sample management platform Cint, where she served as SVP of Sales and Customer Success, Americas. Prior to this she held senior roles at innovation research and trends firm Stylus Innovation + Advisory; online community and survey technology provider Toluna; and consumer product and media intelligence provider Mintel.
The firm has also appointed Marie Aiello as SVP of Revenue Operations; Dena Brody as VP of Enterprise Accounts; Isabella McKeon as VP of Sales; and William Cimarosa as VP of Market Research. Aiello joins after working at marketing technology company Zeta Global and media company Meredith, and will now focus on using market intelligence and insights to identify new growth opportunities. Brody, who joins with nearly fifteen years of advertising and consulting experience, most recently gained at communications network Weber Shandwick, will now partner with some of the firm's largest enterprise clients. McKeon previously served as Head of Sales and Customer Success at research service AskWonder.com, and will now help drive Suzy's sales efforts. Cimarosa, who joins to lead the Center of Excellence team, previously held positions at GSK and Mead Johnson Nutrition.
