Delineate Hires Jeff McDonald for US Expansion

August 20 2020

UK-based insights and marketing analytics firm Delineate has expanded to the US with the appointment of former System1 exec Jeff McDonald as CEO of the Americas.

Jeff McDonaldFounded in 2016 by former BT research head James 'JT' Turner, Delineate combines opinion research, data science and artificial intelligence to deliver real time data and customer and audience insight to B2B and consumer marketers and communicators.

McDonald (pictured) joins after more than six years at behavioural science specialist System 1 Research (formerly BrainJuicer), where he latterly served as President Americas and APAC. Prior to this he worked for Nielsen NeuroFocus (now part of Nielsen Consumer Neuroscience) as Senior Partner in the Consulting Practice and SVP Business Development, overseeing shopper and consumer insights across retail and CPG. Earlier, he held senior roles at SpectraComm, Sealed Air Corporation, Maritz and Reddy Ice.

Commenting on the expansion, Turner said: 'Our early adopter clients include global multinationals with large operations in the Americas who are looking for better ways to manage brand health, as well as disrupters looking for opportunities globally. It made sense for us to expand our client facing presence in the US, in order to deliver the power of our real-time data services to brands who are looking for better, faster ways to support decision making. Jeff's experience and enthusiasm for our brand promise was the perfect fit for our ambitions to grow the business and our universe of satisfied clients'.
