CAYIN Adds Facial Analysis for Personalized Ads

Taiwan-based digital signage developer CAYIN Technology has added facial detection software to its platform, in order to deliver personalized ads based on age and gender.

CAYIN Adds Facial Analysis for Personalized AdsThe firm partnered with computing firm QNAP Systems to create the system, which can support a variety of multimedia formats including 4K HDMI video, YouTube Video, Flash animation, HTML5 web pages, images, music and text tickers. CAYIN can also create one-time or periodic tasks based on daily, weekly, monthly or yearly timescales, to trigger customized ad content for specific events.

In a statement, CAYIN said: 'Our solution to integrate digital signage with facial detection technology is a powerful tool for marketers and advertisers to maximize the effectiveness of the advertising platform that drives higher customer engagement and builds better brand communication'.
