In the US, creative advertising agency The Many has appointed Vanessa Shanahan as Group Director, Analytics, leading data science and measurement solutions.
The California-based agency, which also has an east coast office in the Boston Seaport, delivers bespoke client solutions ranging from integrated brand experiences and activations to social media movements, influencer campaigns and earned media stunts.
Shanahan (pictured) joins from social media agency Smarty, where she served as VP Analytics & Strategy. Prior to this she worked for marcoms group Wunderman Thompson, where as VP of Analytics & Insight she led the Social Analytics practice unit across North America. Earlier, she spent nearly a decade at first OTX (now Ipsos), and then consumer insights and analytics business MarketCast, building box office projections and pre-market testing models.
