In New York, data-driven PR business MWWPR has acquired social media and influencer marketing agency Everywhere Agency. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
MWWPR says Atlanta-based Everywhere Agency will bring expertise in finding advocates that fit almost any brand's requirements, and in proving the ROI of influencer marketing's scalability through measurement. Everywhere's Kelly Dye (pictured) joins MWWPR as Vice President, Influencer, working closely with MWW's Head of Influencer Marketing, Nycole Hampton, to help build the agency's practice.
With the buy, MWWPR will also take over the ownership and management of Everywhere's network, 'Everywhere Society', comprising more than 5,500 influencers across the country. These influencers' relationships span every category of MWW's client base, with various reaches and specialties.
Michael Kempner, founder and CEO of MWWPR, comments: 'Influencer marketing speaks directly to consumer and business-to-business audiences in an authentic and meaningful way. Done properly, an influencer strategy delivers strong ROI by giving key audiences a reason to believe, and a reason to care about your brand. As one of the early proponents of influencer programs, Everywhere's deep experience will help accelerate the expansion of our influencer capabilities'.
