Confirmit Acquires Dapresy Asia

December 15 2020

Research software firm Confirmit, which merged with reporting software provider Dapresy earlier this year, has paid an undisclosed sum for the latter's licensed regional distributor Dapresy Asia.

Kyle FergusonAt the beginning of this year, Confirmit was sold to Nordic private equity fund Verdane, and as part of the deal was merged with Dapresy, with which it already shared many clients. Confirmit had previously merged with / acquired Pulse Train, CustomerSat, Techneos, Integrasco and IRM.

Dapresy is headquartered in Sweden, with additional offices in Boston, Berlin, London, Sarajevo, Sydney and Brisbane. The company's flagship Dapresy Pro software allows researchers with no programming experience to process, analyse and build infographics-based slides in a drag and drop format, providing tabulations in real time as surveys progress. Dapresy Asia was the exclusive licensed distributor of Dapresy solutions in the region, operating independently in Australia, and the move will enable further support for the Australia, New Zealand and Asia markets, while providing Dapresy users around the world with access to the full solutions suite. The new operation will be headed by Dapresy Asia founder Heath Adams, who now serves as Confirmit Managing Director.

Adams says the expansion will provide further investment for new and existing products. Confirmit CEO Kyle Ferguson (pictured) adds: 'We are delighted to be able to consolidate our expertise and capabilities in Australia. With more than twenty years' experience in management and the research industry, Heath Adams will lead our mission to turn complex insight into straightforward stories so our customers can take quick action to meet the challenges ahead'.
