Malawi Office for Field Scope International

UK-based research firm Field Scope International (FSI) has opened an office in Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi, serving increased demand for research in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The company offers qual and quant MR in B2B and consumer markets, in addition to its core strength in healthcare. The latter includes hard-to-reach professionals and patients in dozens of therapy areas.

The new office is FSI's fifth, with locations already in the USA, Serbia and Bulgaria. Managing Director Peter Chulu (pictured) has roots in Malawi, and comments: 'Africa is no longer viewed as an underdeveloped economy, but rather a fast train moving in the right direction, so it was up to us to either stand still and watch it pass by, or jump right on, and Field Scope International decided to position itself in the forefront of this fast-moving train by opening an office in Lilongwe, Malawi'.
