Senior Hires and Promotions for Zappi

Automated ad and innovation testing platform Zappi has hired Alison Scott as Senior Director, Customer Transformation, and Mary Lou Barney as Vice President, Strategic Accounts. The firm has also promoted Patricia Montesdeoca, Michelle Wu and Zontziry Johnson.

Co-built with consumer brands, Zappi's platform is used to screen initial creative / product ideas, guide go-to-market plans and optimize at any point of the advertising or innovation process. Scott joins after running her own agency, Shopper Path Impact, before which she worked for Unilever as NA Director, Shopping, and eCommerce Insights, and spent more than a decade at Colgate-Palmolive, latterly as Director Shopper Insights & Analytics, and Multicultural Insights. Barney joins from MR and community intelligence specialist Fuel Cycle where she was VP, Account Development, having previously held senior roles at Ipsos, Synovate, Research International and IRI, as well as client-side at Disney Consumer Products.

Montesdeoca has been named SVP Customer Transformation Lead, having joined nearly three years ago from Coca-Cola, where she served as Senior Director, Global Sparkling Research & Insight; and earlier held senior insight roles at Colgate-Palmolive and Pepsico. Wu is now Director, Customer Transformation Specialist, having previously worked in the Zappi sales team. Johnson, who is now VP Consulting Solutions Director, joined in 2019 after working at Microsoft as Market Research Manager, plus roles at Ipsos, Blueocean Market Intelligence and QuestionPro.
