NLP Firm Allganize Raises $10m for Global Expansion

Allganize, which uses natural language processing (NLP) to deliver answers to users' questions, has raised $10m in a round of funding. Funds will be used for R&D, global expansion, and to increase headcount.

Changsu LeeSan Francisco-based Allganize uses NLP to extract answers to users' questions directly from millions of unstructured text documents, without any manual preparation of training data. The technology is also able to automatically generate questions and answers from unstructured data, and does not require manual data tagging.

New funding has been led by Atinum Investment, with participation from Stonebridge Ventures, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and existing investors, bringing the total funds raised to $15m since the firm's founding in 2017. Allganize founder and CEO Changsu Lee (pictured), comments: 'Our technologies are capable of extracting intelligent information at a speed and quality that not only meets our partners' needs, but also helps them reimagine what's possible. The support from our investors allows us to move faster to meet the increasing demand for NLP'.
