ICC Asks Insight Sector to Complete Climate Change Survey

April 14 2021

The Insight Climate Collective (ICC), a group calling on the industry to come together and play its part in tackling the environmental crisis, has launched a survey through which all UK insight sector professionals can provide their views on climate change.

Louise McLarenThe group was launched last November, and founders Nick Baker (Savanta), Jem Fawcus (Firefish Group), Denise Hicks (C Space), Louise McLaren (Truth Consulting) and Russ Wilson (Amazon) are planning a number of initiatives including developing an industry charter with the MRS (Market Research Society), and providing a cross-agency resource to aggregate and 'benchmark' climate data. They also want the ICC to provide a forum for people to discuss ideas and launch activism, while offering training and education resources for agencies and clients.

Responses to the new survey, anonymised in aggregate form, will be used to inform the ICC's planned Net Zero in Sight report, in partnership with the MRS, to launch on World Environment Day, 5 June. It can be completed at: https://bit.ly/3dioq4w and the ICC is encouraging all industry professionals to share it with their UK networks and connections to help deliver the most complete picture to inform the ICC's Action Plan for Change.

McLaren (pictured), who also serves as a Truth Consulting Board Director, comments: 'We're really excited to launch this survey, which will provide important insights into the views of our sector on climate change. Through better understanding of today's 'state of play' we can accelerate more meaningful change as a sector working together.'

The ICC LinkedIn group is at www.linkedin.com/groups/8984800 and its survey can be found here: https://bit.ly/3dioq4w .
