Today sees the launch of the inaugural 'Insight250' list, honouring MR industry 'leaders, visionaries and pioneers' who have been selected for their efforts in enhancing market research, enterprise intelligence and data-driven marketing.
The new award list celebrates the work of 250 individuals, described as innovators of insights across the academic, enterprise, agency, technology, consulting and media arenas. The selection process was commissioned by survey analysis and data visualisation software provider mTab and overseen by a panel including professionals from marketing as well as insights / research. Areas considered during the selection process included professional experience, academic accomplishments, publication contributions, industry involvement, insight innovations and sector accolades, among others.
Among the 250 is Mel Crowther, whose work as News Editor of DRNO for the past fifteen years has helped establish this publication as the MR world's go-to 'daily paper', and driven its commitment to high quality writing and comprehensive coverage of industry events and trends day in, day out.
ESOMAR Director General Finn Raben, (who also makes the list), comments: 'I think we are all aware that sometimes, we just don't shout loud enough about the great things we do, the (worldwide) extent of the contributions that data, insights and research make, and of course, about the wonderful people in our sector that make it all happen.
