California-based digital media analytics specialist Quotient has hired long-time Nielsen exec Matthew Krepsik for the newly created role of Chief Analytics Officer.
Quotient, which also has offices across the US as well as in Bangalore, Paris, London and Tel Aviv, offers a proprietary measurement solution and exclusive shopper data to deliver personalized digital coupons and ads to millions of shoppers each day, based on online behavior and engagement data. Krepsik (pictured) joins after nearly seventeen years at Nielsen, where he latterly served as General Manager of Outcomes Products, leading attribution, media planning, and activation products, and was previously Global Head of Analytics Products.
In his new role, Krepsik will lead Quotient's Data, Analytics and Measurement practice, which helps its advertiser and retailer partners deliver data-driven marketing strategies fueled by insights into consumer purchase behavior. CEO Steven Boal comments: 'Matt is a visionary leader who has demonstrated a keen ability to transform data into insights, and then into commercial applications. Data is at the center of everything we do, and I am thrilled to have a respected, recognized authority like Matt join the team'.
