Video ad targeting firm Tremor Video is rolling out its UnrulyEQ suite of audience and psychographic intelligence solutions to clients in the US and Canada. The suite uses facial coding and survey-based techniques to help advertisers across CTV and video reach and engage audiences.
Video ad distribution and tracking platform Unruly, which was sold to Tremor last year, developed proprietary emotional data to deliver targeted ads - including Unruly EQ which helps advertisers maximise the impact of their video content across multiple screens.
The suite includes several products, including EQ Max, for video content testing solutions and targeting; and EQ Custom Audiences, which helps identify customers who show the highest emotional and intent-based responses to creative. EQ Audiences can be used to activate off-the-shelf segments, including those based on the emotional profiles of the videos they have watched; and the EQ Creative Optimizer enables creative customization using machine learning techniques which 'recognize the moments that drive brand awareness'.
Chief Revenue Officer Anthony Flaccavento (pictured) comments: 'Advertisers that have added EQ to their media toolkit are at a distinct advantage relative to their competition, in that they more acutely understand which video creative resonates with consumers and drives them to take action'.
