Online community and survey tech provider Toluna has promoted Susan Vidler to the role of European Chief Research Officer, from her most recent role as UK MD for Harris. The firm has also promoted Olivia Senneville to Executive Vice President, Finance.
Toluna acquired Harris Interactive's European arm from Nielsen in 2014. Vidler (pictured) joined Harris more than fourteen years ago as AD, moving to Head of Financial Services Research, then Head of Research, and for the last more than two years, MD. She began her career at the Industrial Research Bureau / BCG, before moving to BPRI as Senior Client Manager.
In her new role at parent company Toluna, Vidler will be responsible for developing, defining and implementing best practice across the research function. Toluna said in a statement that Vidler has transformed the Harris group to a full-service, digital market research agency; and that her 'quality-focused approach' to delivering insights for brands has led to some of Toluna, and Harris Interactive's 'most longstanding and valued client partnerships'.
Senneville joined Toluna in early 2011, and most recently served as SVP of Financial Planning and Analysis. In this position, she established best practice approaches for financial data management and data accuracy, and developed solutions for budgeting and reporting. She will now lead the global finance team. Prior to joining Toluna, she worked at Chanel, A.T. Kearney and J.P. Morgan.
