Amsterdam-based research software developer Nebu BV has been acquired by Canadian enterprise software solutions specialist Enghouse Systems. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Nebu's tools provide data collection, panel management, dialing services, data management and data processing capabilities, along with technology to help integrate and automate the process within a single suite of tools. Its Data Suite enables enterprises, researchers and analysts to gain an understanding of customer and community behavior, while its Dub InterViewer solution is a data collection application that operates in voice, online, mobile and off-line modes. Last September, the company launched a '360-degree' application called Nebu Panel Manager.
Steve Sadler, Chairman & CEO of Enghouse, comments: 'Nebu enhances our market research solutions and increases our footprint to better serve new and existing customers. We also see an opportunity to combine surveying and community technologies with our AI capabilities to help our customers to gain insights into the voice of the customer. We are very pleased to welcome Nebu's customers and employees to Enghouse'.
Nebu, which was founded by Eric van Velzen and is now led by Otto van Linden (pictured), is online at www.nebu.com , while its new owner can be found at www.enghouse.com .
