Former NBA Marketer Joins Zeta Global Board

NYC-based customer lifecycle marketing company Zeta Global has elected former NBA international marketing leader Jene Elzie to its Board of Directors.

Founded in 2007 by David A. Steinberg and John Sculley, Zeta helps enterprise clients to acquire, grow and retain customers via an omnichannel Marketing Platform (the ZMP) founded on identity data. The ZMP uses AI to analyze billions of structured and unstructured data points and predict consumer intent and personalize experiences at scale. A year ago the company launched a real-time analytics and insights solution called <29898, designed to help marketers identify, segment and act on business growth opportunities arising post-Covid.

Elzie's election as a Class I director brings Board membership to six, and adds to the mix her 25 years of experience developing and implementing growth strategies in the marketing, sports and entertainment industries. She is currently Chief Growth Officer at Athletes First (A1) Partners Agency, a role she has held since 2018. Before this, she was VP of International Marketing for the NBA, where she oversaw the league's marketing efforts outside the US; and served as VP of Marketing & Communications for the EMEA region. Earlier she worked for NBC Universal/Comcast, from 2007 to 2013, and for The Tennis Channel from 2003 to 2007. She is currently on the boards of directors at Varsity Brands and the Public Radio Exchange.
