SHG Founder Jerry Arbittier Launches New Company AOPS

July 13 2021

Jerry Arbittier, co-founder of SurveyHealthcareGlobus (SHG), has set up a new consulting business called Arbittier Opinion Panel Systems (AOPS), supporting healthcare market research firms and panel operators.

Jerry ArbittierArbittier (pictured) helped launch full-service healthcare data collection firm SHG in 2009, served as the company's CEO and then sold it to Apollo Intelligence Corporation a year ago. He previously co-founded physician panel firm All Global (acquired by WPP in 2007), where he spent nearly a decade. Earlier in his career, Arbittier developed the initial sample design for Arbitron's first TV meter panel, and he oversaw product development and research at Kantar Media and NBC.

Based in New York, his new company AOPS will help clients convert their contact database and / or panel into qualified sample for use in survey research. Other services include panel development, marketplace analysis, statistical oversight, and ensuring industry compliance. Additionally, AOPS will oversee and advise on project management and quality control across internal sales, operations, programming and technology departments.

Commenting on the launch, Arbittier said: 'AOPS is designed to integrate within MR organizations' existing infrastructure to implement new methodologies and enhance current processes. Our mission is to facilitate the pharmaceutical industry in making multi-million-dollar decisions that drive the development of therapies to improve the lives of people at reasonable costs'.
