US-based youth and family researcher Smarty Pants has appointed former Kantar director Jennifer Mellett as Research Manager, responsible for designing and leading custom research for the company's entertainment and toy and game clients.
The company, which has headquarters in Johnson City, TN and offices in seven other US cities, works on brand positioning, new product development, consumer lifestyle and trend research. Mellett (pictured) joins in Hartford, Connecticut from Kantar, where she served as Director of Custom Research and Data Analytics, working with a team focused on brand strategy consulting. Earlier, she worked for full-service research and strategy firm PSB as a Senior Market Research Analyst, having begun her research career as an Associate at real estate consulting firm GAR Associates.
