Domino Data Lab Gets Further $100m

December 22 2021

San Francisco-based enterprise data science management platform Domino Data Lab has raised $100m in a Series F round of funding and expanded its product integration and sales partnership with processor designer NVIDIA. The firm has also appointed Tom Gleason as Chief Financial Officer.

Tom GleasonDomino's flagship open technology platform centralizes data science work and infrastructure across the enterprise, enabling data scientists to experiment, collaborate and deploy models for customer support and engagement, product development and research, IT systems and operations management. It also offers the Domino Model Monitor platform, which helps data scientists monitor the performance of all models across an entire organization, preventing AI models from exhibiting bias or degrading over time.

New funding has been led by Great Hill Partners, with participation from processor manufacturer NVIDIA, Coatue Management, Highland Capital Partners and Sequoia Capital, and brings the company's total funding to $228m. Nick Elprin, CEO and co-founder of Domino Data Lab, comments: 'Our mission is to help our customers unleash the power of data science. We're thrilled to have the support of Great Hill Partners and NVIDIA to accelerate our growth and innovation, which in turn will help our customers address the world's most important challenges'.

Separately, Gleason (pictured) joins after nine years at data analytics provider Tableau, where he latterly served as VP Finance, before which he worked for Motricity as Revenue Manager, and he spent more than seven years at Ernst & Young. In his new role, he will help drive Domino's continued growth. He replaces Dennis Sevilla, who is now CFO at getguru.com.
