Eduardo Schubert, one of Brazil's best-known researchers and currently CEO of Indicator GfK, is leaving the company after 18 years. Schubert and co-founder Álvaro Ferraz recently sold their remaining shares to the GfK Group.
The two will continue to lead the company for a transition period of a few months until a new management team is ready to take over. After a vacation, Schubert then intends to 'pursue new challenges' but will continue to serve as President of ABEP, the Brazilian association of MR companies which was formed from a merger of two previous associations last year. He will also continue with contributions to various industry initiatives worldwide.
