GfK Creates New NA Sales and Commercial Strategy Role

In New York, GfK has moved Lydia Irving into the newly created position of Vice President, North American Sales and Commercial Strategy Development.

Lydia IrvingIrving (pictured) joined eight years ago as Global Key Account Manager, and most recently served as VP, Global Strategic Account Lead, leading engagements for clients across a variety of industries but with a focus on the tech sector; having earlier been Global Industry Head - Media. Before this she worked for entertainment research specialist Ipsos OTX as SVP Social Listening; NM Incite as SVP Global Research; and Nielsen, where she spent more than five years, latterly as VP CGM Research.

In her new position, Irving takes on the expanded role which involves driving revenue and profits across the organization, and guiding and aligning the company's commercial sales strategy with major GfK accounts. Gregg Lindner, President of Americas, comments: 'Lydia collaborates effortlessly with clients and global GfK partners to deliver the highly relevant insights that build our brand around the world.
