Aterian Names New Chief Operating Officer

In New York, data science-enabled consumer products platform Aterian has appointed Anton von Rueden as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing global supply chain operations. He takes over from Pramod K C, who has been named COO and General Manager of Aterian's Asia operations.

Anton von RuedenAterian's Artificial Intelligence Marketplace Ecommerce Engine (AIMEE) uses machine learning, natural language processing and data analytics to help streamline the management of products across online marketplaces, including Amazon, Shopify and Walmart. Through these methodologies, the company partners with eCommerce brands to create 'top selling' consumer brands.

Prior to joining, von Rueden (pictured) was President and COO of eCommerce aggregator Boosted Commerce, where he oversaw business operations and marketing for the firm's portfolio of brands. Before this, he spent more than five years at online fashion brands operations firm TechStyleOS as COO and SVP and General Manager of Global Member Services; he co-founded and served as CEO of car design platform Carfrogger; and worked at Frommer Legal as COO and Grünkauf AG as COO. Earlier, he was VP of Global Operations at eCommerce platform Spreadshirt, having begun his career at eBay, where he spent more than seven years in various roles including MD of Ebay Switzerland and Austria.
